# Seller FAQ: verification, listings, shipping and payouts

> Short answers to common Souqna seller questions about getting verified, listing rules, commission, shipping with Wakilni, payouts and strikes.

Quick answers for people selling on Souqna. For step-by-step help, see the [seller guides](https://wiki.souqnaleb.com/sellers/become-a-seller.md).

## Getting started

> [accordion] Who can sell on Souqna?
>
> Anyone 18 or older who passes identity verification with Didit and is approved by the Souqna team. See [Become a seller](https://wiki.souqnaleb.com/sellers/become-a-seller.md).

> [accordion] How long does approval take?
>
> Usually within 24 hours. You get an email when the team decides.

> [accordion] My application was rejected. What now?
>
> Read the feedback, fix the issue, wait 24 hours and click **Apply Again**. You get 3 applications in total, and each rejection adds a strike.

> [accordion] Why is my seller workspace locked?
>
> Your identity verification expired or the team asked you to verify again. Go to **Account settings → Seller verification** and complete it.

## Listings

> [accordion] What can I sell?
>
> Fashion in four categories: Clothing, Bags, Accessories and Shoes.

> [accordion] How many photos can I add?
>
> 1 to 10 per listing. JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or HEIF. Large photos are compressed automatically.

> [accordion] Does the team approve my listing first?
>
> No. Your listing goes live as soon as you click **Publish listing**.

> [accordion] How long does a listing run?
>
> You pick the end date. It defaults to 7 days.

> [accordion] Can I edit or remove a listing?
>
> You can edit any listing that isn't sold or removed. You can't remove a listing with active bids; use **End Auction Now** or accept a bid instead.

> [accordion] My auction ended without a sale. What can I do?
>
> Click **Relist as draft** on the Listings page, adjust the price or reserve, and publish again.

> [accordion] Can I run discounts or coupons?
>
> Not at the moment. Promotions and coupons are switched off.

## Fees and payouts

> [accordion] What does Souqna charge sellers?
>
> Nothing on regular listings. Listings that offer item verification pay a 12.5% commission. See [Earnings and fees](https://wiki.souqnaleb.com/sellers/earnings.md).

> [accordion] When do I get paid?
>
> Earnings are recorded after the buyer receives the item. The Souqna team pays you outside the app and records each payment as a settlement. Contact support about timing and method.

> [accordion] Do I collect cash from the buyer?
>
> No. The Wakilni courier collects payment from the buyer on delivery.

## Shipping

> [accordion] How do I ship an order?
>
> Open the order, fill in the Wakilni pickup details, click **Activate Wakilni shipment**, print the label and hand the parcel to the courier. See [Ship orders](https://wiki.souqnaleb.com/sellers/ship-orders.md).

> [accordion] Why is my parcel going to a warehouse?
>
> The buyer added verification or cleaning. The team checks the item before it goes on to the buyer.

> [accordion] How fast do I need to ship?
>
> Ship within the dispatch schedule you set in **Selling availability**. Your Overview warns you when a dispatch estimate is close or has passed.

> [accordion] Can I cancel an order?
>
> Only buyers can cancel. If you can't fulfil an order, contact support.

> [accordion] I'm going on holiday.
>
> Pause selling from **Selling availability**. Remember to resume when you're back; it doesn't restart on its own.

## Strikes

> [accordion] How do strikes work?
>
> You get a strike for a lost dispute, a rejected seller application, or an admin action. At 3 active strikes you get a 48-hour cooldown, at 4 your selling is suspended, and at 5 your account is banned. Strikes count for 365 days. See [Account standing](https://wiki.souqnaleb.com/sellers/account-standing.md).

> [accordion] Can I appeal a strike?
>
> Yes, once per strike, from **Account standing**.
