# Check out and pay on delivery with Wakilni

> Complete a Souqna checkout: understand each fee, add your delivery address and map pin, add optional item verification, and pay cash or card on delivery.

On Souqna you pay nothing online. Every order is delivered by Wakilni, and you pay the courier in cash or by card when the order arrives.

## What you pay

The **Order Summary** at checkout lists every charge before you place the order.

| **Buyer Protection Fee** | Covers secure payment handling and buyer protection. Currently $0.07 plus 5% of the item price up to $500, or $0.07 plus 2% above $500. |
| **Shipping** | Wakilni delivery, based on the seller's and your governorates and the parcel weight. Charged for every item. |
| **Verification & Care Service** | Optional, on eligible items. Currently \$10, includes cleaning. |
| **Cleaning & Validating** | Optional, on eligible items. Currently \$5. |

> The estimate leaves out shipping because it depends on where you and the seller are. Fees can change; the checkout page always shows the exact total.

## Place your order

**1. Choose your delivery address**

Pick a saved address, or choose **Enter new address** and fill in the street, city and governorate.

**2. Add courier details**

Enter the recipient name, phone and Wakilni area. Floor, building and directions are optional but help the courier.

**3. Drop a pin**

Tap the map where the courier should deliver, or click **Use my location**. Drag the pin to adjust it. Tick **Save this address for later** to reuse it.

**4. Choose how to pay**

Under **Payment on delivery**, pick **Cash** or **Card**. With Card, the courier brings a card machine.

**5. Place the order**

Click **Place Order**. You see a confirmation and a link to your order.

> If the total changes while you're on the page (for example, the seller updated shipping), Souqna asks you to review the new price before placing the order.

## Item verification

On items marked **Eligible for verification**, you can add **Verification & Care Service** or **Cleaning & Validating** at checkout. With either option:

1. The seller sends the item to the Souqna warehouse first.
2. The team checks (and cleans) it.
3. Wakilni delivers it to you, and you pay on that final delivery.

If the item fails verification, onward delivery is cancelled and you are not asked to pay for it.
